Below, I’ll list every title by Julia Quinn, from her debut novel to her most recent release.
All of her books are intended to be read in the order they were published, so getting started is easy; just pick the series that appeals to you most, and dive right in!
The Splendid Trilogy
The Splendid Trilogy, also known as the Blydon Family Saga, is a collection of three captivatingly witty regency romance novels.
Book one was Julia Quinn’s debut release. It follows the story of a happily single American heiress, Emma Dunster, who visits her cousins in England, only to fall madly in love with a Duke.
Book two switches the focus onto Emma’s beautiful and brainy cousin, Lady Arabella ‘Belle’ Blydon, who strikes up an unexpected romance with a wounded war hero.
And in book three, the unconventional tomboy Henrietta ‘Henry’ Barrett is swept away to London by Duke William Dunford, ditching her masculine clothes to become the belle of the ball.
While the Splendid series is technically a trilogy, in 2003, Julia Quinn penned a bonus follow-up novella, ‘A Tale of Two Sisters,’ published in the popular anthology ‘Where’s My Hero?’
This quick-read follows Lady Arabella’s brother Ned, who inconveniently falls in love with his bride-to-be’s sister just days before their wedding.

The Lyndon Sisters Books
This two-part series takes place against a backdrop of 19th century England, as sisters Victoria and Eleanor Lyndon are on the lookout for true love.
Ultimately, Victoria finds her happiness with a man whose heart she broke seven years ago, while a dashing Earl falls literally head over heels for Eleanor.

The Agents of the Crown Books
Book one of this series takes us back to the early 1800s when, weeks before her 21st birthday, Caroline Trent is kidnapped by an agent of the crown, the dashing and dangerous Blake Ravenscroft. But rather than try and escape his capture, she finds herself bewitched by his devilish charms.
Book two centers around Elizabeth Hotchkiss, a young woman on a mission to find a husband. But when the Marquis of Riverdale, James Sidwell, offers to help her in her search for love, he discovers that he could be her perfect match.

The Bridgerton Books
Julia Quinn’s critically acclaimed Bridgerton series follows eight aristocratic siblings in their individual pursuits for love and happiness. But in the cutthroat world of 19th-century high society London, dating isn’t always easy.
Each book follows a different Bridgerton as they embark on lustful affairs, scandalous courtships, and whirlwind romances.
The series has been popular since the first book, ‘The Duke and I,’ was published in 2000. But twenty years later, the recent Shondaland/Netflix TV adaptation has put these raunchy regency romance stories back in the limelight and earned Julia Quinn a whole new set of fans.

And if you’ve already completed the main novels and are desperate for another Bridgerton fix, keep reading, as there’s a follow-up series below that you won’t want to miss.

The Bevelstoke Books
While these three books are classed as a series, the author describes them as more of a “collection of novels that had secondary characters I wanted to write about.”
Book one follows Miss Miranda Cheever and her unshakeable, lifelong love for Nigel Bevelstoke, the Viscount of Turner.
The second installment of the series dives deeper into the character of Olivia, Nigel Bevelstoke’s sister. After hearing rumors about her intriguing neighbor, Sir Harry Valentine, curiosity gets the better of her, and she begins spying on him through her window.
Sir Harry has an equally interesting cousin, Sebastian Grey, who takes center stage in the final book of the trilogy, ‘Ten Things I Love About You.’ Sebastian is set to inherit his family’s vast estate, but his spiteful uncle, the Earl of Newbury, is desperate to ensure he doesn’t receive a penny.

The Two Dukes of Wyndham Books
Julia Quinn’s Two Dukes of Wyndham series is inspired by Dire Strait’s famous lyric, “Two men say they’re Jesus. One of them must be wrong.” But instead of Jesus, these two men are Dukes, or, at least, one of them is.
So, who is the real Duke of Wyndham? Is it the lofty, arrogant, and illustrious Thomas Cavendish? Or the carefree, handsome renegade Jack Audley?

The Ladies’ Most Books
In 2010, Julia Quinn joined forces with close friends and fellow authors Eloisa James and Connie Brockway to pen these two captivating novels about the perils of finding love in 19th century Regency England.
In book one, Hugh Dunne, the Earl of Briarly, is searching for the perfect wife, and so his sister, Lady Carolyn Finchley, embarks on a misguided matchmaking mission that doesn’t go quite to plan.
And the matchmaking continues in book two, as we meet the proud Scottish lord Taran Ferguson, who is desperate to marry off one of his nephews to continue his family’s name. And so, he sets up a string of unsuspecting potential brides in the hopes that Cupid’s arrow will strike.

The Smythe-Smith Quartet Books
Honoria Smythe-Smith is a tone-deaf violinist who inadvertently falls in love with her older brother’s best friend, Marcus Holroyd, the Earl of Chatteris.
You might recognize this likable hero and heroine from one of Quinn’s earliest novels, the 1996 ‘Minx.’ But in this four-book series, the pair take center stage amongst a wider cast of characters, including a few more familiar faces from the Bridgerton series.
The Smythe-Smith Quartet Books in Reading Order
- Just Like Heaven (2011)
- A Night Like This (2012)
- The Sum of All Kisses (2013)
- The Secrets of Sir Richard Kenworthy (2015)
The Rokesby Books
Bridgerton fans rejoice! If you love the eight novels in the main series, you’ll adore these prequels, which follow the Bridgerton family’s close friends and neighbors, the Rokesbys.
In the late 18th century, just a generation before the Bridgerton tales took place, the blue-blooded Rokesbys were navigating the world of courtship, love, marriage, and scandal amidst the strict social code of Georgian London, and these books tell their stories.
Eagle-eyed readers might also recognize a few of their favorite Bridgerton characters amongst the cast, including Anthony and Benedict as young boys and Colin as a baby!
